GB (continued)

In 1994, GB and his family moved to the island of Hawai'i. Armed with a grant from Pacific Islanders in Communication, he immediately began researching for a documentary about Samoan John Alexander Kneubuhl who was a key writer in the Golden Age of Television and helped Gene Roddenberry get his start. Along with award winning playwright Victoria Haisley, GB produced a feature length script of Kneubuhl 's life and work.

He then risked life and limb co-producing the full-length television program Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park - the definitive historical perspective of one of the most visited parks in the world. The show has been picked up by the Discovery Networks and has international distribution. The show won a Silver Telly at the 18th annual Telly Awards and the coveted Kahili award from the Hawai'i Visitors and Convention Bureau.
